About the launch festival
Hosted across four Saturdays in September
To launch ReadyPlay across the Northern Suburbs, we're bringing the community together for four weekends of sport. Turn up for a casual hit, or go all in and compete. The whole point is simple: get off the group chat and onto the court.
Week 1, Competitive
3v3 Basketball
This is more than just a tournament. It's your chance to be crowned as the best. Enter as a full team or register solo and we'll place you in a squad. Then battle through a fast paced round robin competition where every game matters and every point counts.
From the opening tip off to the championship game, expect big plays, fierce rivalries and an atmosphere built for competitors.
- Entry fee required
- Teams of 3, with subs allowed
- Group stage into knockout finals
- Refereed, scored and a major prize for the winners

Week 2, competitive
5v5 Soccer
Enter with your squad or register solo and we'll place you in a team. Then battle through a high intensity round robin tournament where every match matters and every goal could be the difference between elimination and a shot at the title. Expect last minute winners, spectacular saves and moments that will be talked about long after the final whistle.
The top teams will advance to the championship finals, but only one side will lift the trophy.

Week 3, social
2v2 Pickleball
Whether you're a seasoned pickleball player or picking up a paddle for the very first time, this social event is designed to get everyone involved. We'll rotate players throughout the session so you can meet new people, play with different partners and enjoy plenty of court time.
Come with friends or come solo. Either way, you'll leave with new connections, new playing partners and maybe even a new favourite sport.

Week 4, social
3v3 Volleyball
Join us on the iconic sands of Manly Beach for an morning of social volleyball, beachside vibes and unforgettable summer energy.
Whether you're a volleyball veteran or just looking for an excuse to get outdoors and meet new people, this event is all about fun, connection and enjoying one of Sydney's most spectacular locations.
We'll mix up teams throughout the day, keep the games flowing and make sure everyone gets involved. Come with friends or come solo. Either way, you'll leave with sandy feet, new mates and a few great stories.
No pressure. No competition. Just beach volleyball the way it was meant to be.
